Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use the platform, and information from your device.

• Account information — full name, email address, phone number, and password when you register as a customer, provider, or admin.
• Profile information — home and office addresses, city, profile photo, and, for service providers, business details, service categories, coverage area, and uploaded certificates.
• Booking information — service requests, scheduled dates and times, job descriptions, and any photos you attach to a booking.
• Payment information — wallet balance, transaction history, and payment method. Card and bank account details are handled directly by our payment processor and are never stored on Maahir's own servers.
• Communications — reviews, ratings, and support requests you submit.
• Technical information — IP address, device and browser type, and log data collected automatically to keep the platform secure and traceable across services.

• To create and maintain your account, and to verify service providers before they can accept bookings.
• To connect customers with providers, process bookings, and calculate commission and payouts.
• To process payments and maintain an accurate, auditable wallet and transaction history.
• To send booking confirmations, OTP codes, and other service-related notifications.
• To respond to support requests and investigate disputes or refund claims.
• To detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized account activity.
• To improve the platform based on how it's actually used.

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only where it's necessary to operate the platform:

• Between a customer and a service provider, limited to what's needed to complete a booking (name, contact number, service address).
• With our payment processor, to complete online payments and payouts.
• With law enforcement or regulators, only when required by law.
• With service providers who support our infrastructure (e.g. hosting), under confidentiality obligations, and never for their own marketing purposes.

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, never in plain text. Every request across our services is traceable via a correlation ID so an issue can be investigated end to end. Access to financial data — wallets, transactions, refunds, and payouts — is restricted to authorized administrators and logged for audit purposes. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we design every service around minimizing what's collected and who can access it.

• You can review and update your profile information at any time from your dashboard.
• You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• You can request deletion of your account, subject to any records we're required to retain for financial or legal purposes (e.g. completed transaction history).
• You can opt out of non-essential notifications from your account settings.

We use local storage to keep you signed in between visits and to remember basic preferences. We don't use third-party advertising trackers. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Maahir is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated revision date. Continued use of Maahir after a change means you accept the revised policy.
